let's drop!

I thought I'd try one of those detailed posts, just for kicks eyy. (:

So my day started dark and early at 0630 to meet the boy and head down to Tekong to see his recruits POP-ing. It was pretty exciting, especially since it'll be my one and only experience until I have one (un-fat version) of my own. And I don't know if it was the hormones or the damnnn hormones that made me tear throughout the entire parade, so overwhelmed with this feeling I can't seem to place my finger on. Oh well... must be the hormones.

Oh so after two ferry rides and a hot parade later, we decided to do our part and donate blood. Long story short, I left the donation centre with no cool bandage around my arm, no story to tell about an injection except for a sticker which says I'm a loser first-timer and this pathetic, insignificant dot on my finger they extracted blood from for the blood test. WHICH STILL HURTS. And then after everything, they decide that my arms are too skinny for their hugemongous needle. Oh pbfft, way to burst a bubble.

Anyway, my soldier officially ended his National Service on Sunday and I just wanted to say that I am extreeeeeemely proud of you, and I'm glad we had the entire weekend to celebrate.
Only you and I know.

:)
